A fully hosted and managed instance of WordPress within a multi-tenanted environment. Using the Pugpig Authoring System means the hosting, upgrading and management of WordPress is handled by Kaldor.
The Pugpig Express Theme (as described below) to create responsive content that can be served to all devices.
The ability to create and manage users, with varying roles and permissions.
Curate editions of content, using our flatplan tool, pull in adverts and test on a device, before packaging and publishing.
Customisation of the Pugpig Express Theme - no custom server side code can be used. It will not be possible to upload any custom plugins or themes.
Ability to create custom post types to support other forms of content, for example book reviews or recipes. Create custom templates and write CSS to style the new content types.
Help and Support services in various forms, primarily a Zendesk support ticketing system

THE PUGPIG EXPRESS WORDPRESS THEME

A responsive HTML theme for WordPress, with a set of provided content types - articles, contents pages, adverts, cover pages - and a range of layouts that can be applied on a page by page basis.
Select from various skins that provide a different look and feel for your content. The preset fonts and colours can be customised, to allow for personalisation within the skin.
For more freedom to customise the layouts, small, simple changes can be made to the HTML structure - without needing to write any CSS.
Or if more in-depth customisation is required, custom CSS can be uploaded and the HTML templates can be edited (using Mustache for the templating).
