GA4 Setting up Custom Dimensions – Pugpig Documentation

Once Google Analytics 4 (GA4) has been set up, Pugpig custom dimensions need to be added so that they can be tracked and analysed.

Follow the steps below to add them.

1. Go to GA4 EVENTS/Events then select "Create Custom Dimension".

2. In the "Event Parameter" field, add the events that begin with KG one by one. Use the same name for "Dimension Name" and under scope, select "Event" for all and Save. (A list of our dimensions are at the end of the document, this can however change so just add all the custom dimensions that begin with KG).

Give it a day or so and you can then start using these dimensions in reports.
